Terms of Service

Stumpymonster.com is a private invitation-only website for Stumpfest, an annual private gathering hosted by Max Benedict on the Thornapple River in Michigan. By using the site (RSVPing, uploading photos, signing the waiver, or otherwise interacting with any page that requires an invite code), you agree to these terms.

• Access is granted by a personal two-word invite passphrase issued by the host.
• Your passphrase is yours — don't share it. If we suspect a passphrase has been shared, we may revoke it.
• The host may archive, revoke, or restrict any household's access at any time, for any reason, without notice.

If you provided your phone number to the host, you may receive SMS messages about Stumpfest — typically a few per year (initial invitation, optional reminder, day-of details, and any event-critical updates). Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with any third party for marketing. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Photos, videos, captions, and other content you upload to the Yearbook galleries are reviewed by the host before appearing publicly inside the invite-gated section of the site. By uploading, you grant the host the right to display the content on Stumpymonster.com to other invited guests.

• Don't upload anything you don't own.
• Don't upload anything illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that violates someone else's privacy.
• The host may decline to publish, edit, or remove uploaded content at any time without explanation.

Watercraft and other recreational activities at the in-person event are governed by the separate Sea-Doo / Personal Watercraft Waiver, which you must read and sign before participating. Nothing on this site or in these terms substitutes for that waiver.

The site is provided "as is." The host makes no warranties about availability, accuracy of event details, or fitness for any purpose beyond the obvious one (helping you find the river). The site may go down, change, or be retired without notice.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the host (Max Benedict), the host's family, the property owner, and anyone helping run Stumpfest are not liable for any claim related to your use of the site or your participation in the event beyond what the signed waiver covers.

We can update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to invited guests directly. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
